On a warm summer's evenin' on a train bound for nowhere. Oops sorry wrong start. BENT is a four-piece rock band based out of Ripon Wisconsin that has been rocking East Central Wisconsin for years. BENT prides itself on playing a wide variety of tunes that rock. From the 1960's to something last week, BENT covers it all. Simply we play rock! Meet the members of BENT. ---- Joe Downs: Lead Guitarist & Captain Sarcasm. Joe has been playing in bands for a number of years and has played it and seen it all. In addition to playing guitar he can do some mean backup vocals in a Godsmack tune plus he knows how all the shiny equipment works. His influences include Zakk Wylde, Kerry King, and any other guy who can play fast or can sound like Stevie Ray Vaughn or Steve Vai. ---- Jason “Biggie” Mansmith: Lead Vocals and Wise Cracker. Jason has been with BENT long enough to know better. He grew up next to and had the same babysitter as Joe. Call if fate, call it destiny. Jason is a huge music freak and loves everything music. He is a big fan of Metallica, Niel Diamond, N.W.A., and cheesy pop tunes. \m/ ---- Ben Paulson: Drums & Chief Noise Maker. Ben is the “youngster” in the band that keeps the old guys going. Jason and Joe saw him play when he was 14 and said, lets keep and eye on him and low and behold he is playing for us. Ben is a student at Ripon College studying guess what….music. He plays in a number of projects and is currently trying to break that Guinness Book of World Record for Number of Beats….on a drum you perverts. Precise Annihilatation is a Benny Benny Bum Bum Drum Show! ---- Courtney MF Parks: Thumps and such is what CMFP brings to band. A vast musical knowledge of all that rocks, and she can rock out some Shania Twain too. We don't let her, but we have seen her sing it before. Courtney is living the rock n roll dream for the first time with BENT. She is being properly hazed and corrupted.
